Google CEO Eric Schmidt has said that Google will change dynamically in the next five years. You will see a lot of social media content and Chinese language, delivered with super-fast bandwidth in real time. He said that it will be a real challenge to rank real-time social media content. In his 45 minute interview at the Gartner Symposium, Orlando, Gartner, Eric touched some important points which are
1. 5 years from now, the Internet will be dominated by Chinese language content
2. Just like teenagers of today who jump from one application to the other seamlessly, the web will work in a similar fashion in the next five years
3. In the next five years, the broadband performance will be more than 100MB and the barriers between TV, radio and the web will vanish
4. Content will go towards Youtube and other video channels.
