With Samsung, LG and Nokia releasing smartphones at an alarming succession, can Sony Ericsson keep quiet? The mobile phone brand which many users still swear by for its camera and sound clarity, has come up with three new smartphones: Satio, Aino and Yari.

Sony Ericsson is determined to focuss on the smartphone category for the next two to three years. The company is actually waiting for 3G spectrum allocation to come out with new features.

The Satio has a 3.5 inch screen and comes with a 16:9 widescreen format with a 12.1 megapixel camera. The price of Satio Sony Ercisson phone is Rs. 35,950

The Aino provides services to access content stored on a PlayStation 3 from anywhere in the world through a Wi-Fi connection. It also gives remote play access to videos, television shows and photos. The mobile has an 8 megapixel camera and is priced at Rs 28,950.

Yari brings in Gesture gaming that allows users to make the moves in front of the screen and play games without even touching the phone. Yari has a 5 megapixel camera and and the rate is Rs 16,950.
