Google Buzz or Twitter? Which one is better? Google Buzz, Google’s big jump into social media is just like Twitter. In Google Buzz you can post your status updates, put pictures, videos and links from your friends. You will be able to get Tweet updates on Google Buzz but you will not be able to be able to Tweet using Google Buzz. Google Buzz has smartly avoided Facebook, its competitor but allows you to integrate the usual Google features, Blogger, Youtube, Flicker and Picasa.

One thing we all know is that Twitter rocks because of its simplistic design. You just have to type 160 characters, but in Google Buzz, you can type more. Google Buzz is complicated than Twitter, we have private Buzzes and public Buzzes. They also plan to have Google Buzzes that will run separately for educational institutions and offices. So you will be able to share Google Buzzes within your office or within a particular network. Also if anyone comments on your Google Buzz, it will go into your Gmail buzz area. This may get a little messy at times. You can reply to a Buzz from your email as well.
