Here are some reasons, I dislike Google Buzz. Google’s social networking too has incorporated Twitter’s features with Friendfeed and has come up with this new blogging-social networking tool in one
1. Distraction with My Gmail: Instead of interaction, Google Buzz proves more to be a distraction. If you have not activated Google Buzz, it will keep on your appearing whenever you start your Gmail
2. Google Buzz can clutter my inbox: You like it or not, you already get followers from your Gmail inbox, and most of them are the one you don’t want to follow or be followed. If someone writes you a Google Buzz and you are offline, it naturally goes to your inbox and can clutter it.
3. People auto-follow you in Google Buzz: What I dislike more about Google Buzz is that they will automatically follow you in the beginning, unless you tend to ‘uncheck’ them to make them step following you. People may miss this step and that can toss their privacy away.
4. Everyone sees your Blog Activity, You Tube activity etc: Google Buzz’s ‘connected sites’ has its related and owned sites like YouTube, Blogger, Picasa and Flickr activated. So any latest update that you do is seen by your followers. So a blog post that you don’t really want to market or a video that you don’t want the world (I mean all of your followers) to see will be seen by them because they are posted as Buzz updates. So you have to manually go to ‘connected sites’, edit and remove them
5. No Integration with Facebook: In Google Buzz, you can’t make or see Facebook updates, something that can turn off Facebook lovers, which are many by the way!
